3D Weapon Modeling

This was an individual assignment for my 3D Animation and Asset production course. We had to find a model that might appear in a video game and model it ourself within Autodesk Maya. My inspiration for this project was the Flute, a weapon used by a popular character in the game Genshin Impact that is the combination of both a sword and a flute. I also got to texture and render the colors and textures for the different materials of the Flute. This assignment taught me how to create intricate models with basic 3D primitives in Autodesk Maya and it also taught me to to UV wrap/unwrap my model so it can be textured correctly. I am very proud of how it turned out in the end!
