I love learning new things and adding skills to my skill set because there is so much out there that I don't know yet! My dream from childhood was to become a Game Designer/Developer and I am beyond happy that I am able to pursue that dream. Video games have been a huge part of my childhood, as I loved playing games and immersing myself in the experience. Whether it be Minecraft on PC, Angry Birds on Mobile, or even Dominoes as an analog game: I have met so many incredible people and have had many positive experiences and I would love to be able to recreate those positive experiences for children playing games today! After I graduate and obtain my Bachelor's degree in Game Design and Development I plan to obtain my MBA with a concentration on marketing. There are many moving parts in creating a game, but I am excited to gain as much experience as possible and learn as many things as possible in the industry!

I have a big interest in the development side of game design and development. I have always been fascinated with the specific mechanics in the games I play and how the code behind the scenes makes the experience I am immersed in possible. Recently, however, after playing a game titled Outer Wilds, I have developed an immense appreciation and interest in the storytelling in games because the way a game develops and immerses the player in its story can propel an experience to legendary proportions. I also loved writing my own stories in the form of small books as a child and I believe that playing this game has reawakened that love for constructing a story. Now when I have the time I enjoy looking into game mechanics as well as creating small stories.
